Core Technology

How AL-NH₃ Heat Pipes Work

The operating principle behind every SJTS cooling module — space-qualified thermal physics applied to AI infrastructure.

Heat absorption at the evaporator
Ammonia liquid at the heat source absorbs thermal energy and vaporizes — transferring large amounts of heat at near-constant temperature.

Vapor transport along the pipe
NH₃ vapor travels through the pipe to the condenser end at high velocity, carrying heat over distances up to 3 metres with minimal loss.

Condensation and heat rejection
Vapor condenses back to liquid at the cooler end, releasing heat to the radiator or heat sink. The 3D-printed wick wicks liquid back to the evaporator.
